Drake is among the many celebrities and fans mourning the death of Nipsey Hussle and he took a moment to pay his respects last night in London.
The OVO Sound rapper is on his Assassination Vacation tour and addressed the crowd about Nipsey’s untimely passing saying:
“Somebody that provided for his people. Somebody that always treated you with respect when he saw you. Somebody that commanded respect when he walked in a room. So I really just…I really want to do this shot for Nip tonight and I just want everybody to just look around and be grateful and happy that we’re all here alive and well because life can end at any moment. I just want to say that I love you and I’m thankful to be with you here tonight and London as long as you’ll have me back I’ll stand in the middle of this building and I’ll give you everything I fu*king got. Cheers to my brother. Rest easy my g. London I love y’all.”
Drizzy renamed London’s O2 arena to the O3 for his stay there. The inspiration is drawn from “God’s Plan” lyrics saying, “You know me, turn the O2 into the O3.” The Assassination Vacation tour began on March 10th and ends April 28th. You can grab tickets here.
Drake recently delivered a trailer for season three of Top Boy on Netflix. The show hasn’t been operational in six years, but Aubrey Graham bought the rights in 2017.
