Cardi B is undoubtedly one of rap’s biggest stars and now she gets her own statue at the Brooklyn Museum.
The “Please Me” artist took to Instagram last night with a video of her new piece of art saying:
“If you’re in the New York area make sure you check out my statue in the Brooklyn Museum!!!! Thank you RapCaviar this is amazing!!! April 3rd – 7th! Make sure ya take pics and tag me. :)”
Cardi is among several musicians honored by RapCaviar including Juice WRLD, Gunna, and Jaden Smith who all have statues on display. The Spotify sub-brand had a reveal party yesterday with music provided by Metro Boomin. Pusha T, Juice WRLD, Jaden, and others were in attendance.
Cardi B is working on her sophomore album, which she says is coming sometime this year. Her debut LP Invasion Of Privacy has gone double RIAA platinum.
