Migos rapper Offset faces a felony charge after smashing the phone out of a fan’s hand at a Target store in Sandy Springs, GA.
WSB-TV reports that the viral video of Offset knocking the device from the hands of his fellow shopper has resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest for “criminal damage to property.”
The fan Junior Gibbons told TMZ that Offset asked him to “get that f**kin’ phone out of my face.”
Offset was also recently charged with felony gun possession, misdemeanor marijuana possession, and a traffic violation after being arrested in 2018.
Although the musician’s response to the situation with Gibbons seemed disproportionate, the law’s involvement is also a little over the top. Hopefully everyone can resolve the dispute in a timely fashion.
