The festival is a world festival. It promotes rum and alcoholic beverages. It is organized in collaboration and held within the El Rancho Hotel in Haiti. The equestrian sport premiered on 14 November 2014.

Rum may be a drink mainly related to the Caribbean and Haiti incorporates a rum festival that pays homage to alcoholic beverages on its island. Inspired by the Paris Rum Fest and also the Festival of cane in Martinique, the Haitian Rum festival could be a celebration of alcoholic beverages from across the coast.
It started in 2014. It features tastings, workshops, and cooking shows by professional rums. There’s an excellent selection of moonshine and rum flowing in every direction here.
Awards like Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals are awarded to the best amateurs and professionals of rum and cocktails and even chefs for cooking demonstrations from the simplest round the world. The festival also has artistic performances and a fashion show.
