According to local media sources, rapper Nasir Valenzuela, also known as Nas EBK, was detained on accusations of shooting Idressa Siby in Times Square, New York City.
The incident took place on February 9 between W. 44th Street and 8th Avenue when the 22-year-old victim and Nas EBK argued, according to the police. Reportedly, he shot Siby in the chest, and in the hospital, she was pronounced dead. After shooting her, he ran away from the incident.
On Instagram, Nas also confirmed his arrest. He posted a photo with the title “Innocent” and the following caption:

Nasir Valenzuela was previously detained on February 22 in relation to an attack and making terrorist threats at a supermarket shop in New Jersey.
