Jeff Dahmer death photos, autopsy, morgue pics of serial killer’s corpse
Jeffrey Dahmer’s battered and bruised body was immortalized in photographs taken after he was bludgeoned to death.
On November 28, 1994, around 8 a.m., a fellow prison inmate, Christopher Scarver, murdered the Milwaukee Cannibal. The 34-year-skull old’s was crushed with a 20-inch metal weights bar stolen from the Columbia Correctional Institute’s gym. Scarver also slammed his head against a wall several times.
In 2015, Scarver told The New York Post he confronted Dahmer with a newspaper clipping about his crimes.
He recalled: “I asked him if he did those things ’cause I was fiercely disgusted. He was shocked. Yes, he was. He started looking for the door pretty quick. I blocked him. He ended up dead. I put his head down.”
Details about his grisly death, which came just three years after he was jailed for 16 first degree murders, were also provided in a coroner’s report.

After he was attacked and the alarm was raised, he was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later. Dr. Robert Huntington III, a forensic pathologist at the University of Wisconsin who later performed the autopsy on Dahmer’s body, noted that the cannibalistic necrophile was wearing shackles.
He noted: “Such was the fear of this man that chains were on the feet, even post-mortem.”

It is more likely that he was shackled as some prisoners had been known to fake injury or even their own death in order to escape prison. It shows that Dahmer was seen as a high risk prisoner – one who may have killed again had he escaped custody.
In photos taken after his death, Dahmer’s face is discoloured with heavy bruising, with large dark and yellow patches spreading across his face. His eyes are also black from the fatal beating.
