Early Years and Schooling
On July 3, 1989, Elle King entered this world by delivery to a hospital in Los Angeles, California. Her parents, Rob Schneider (a former cast member of Saturday Night Live) and London King (a former model), had her. There is a King sibling in the family; his name is Noah.
After her parents divorced, London King, her mother, remarried. She was raised in the area between Wellston and Columbus, Ohio. When she was nine years old, her stepfather, Justin Tesa, handed her a record by the all-female hard rock band The Donnas.

Then RCA’s newly appointed chairman, Peter Edge, made the call to sign her. Her first release, a song named “Good To Be A Man,” was released on digital download as a seven-inch vinyl single on March 13, 2012. On June 12, 2012, RCA published the Elle King EP, which featured four songs by the singer.
The EP features four songs, three of which she created, and was recorded in New York City with help from Andrew Baldwin and Chris DeStefano as producers. The EP’s lead single, “Playing for Keeps,” was chosen as the theme song for the premiere of VH1’s Mob Wives Chicago series on June 10, 2012.

Andrew Ferguson and Elle King started dating in January of 2016. The couple met in the lobby of a London hotel and got engaged a week later while sailing across San Francisco Bay.
