Fricky, an 18 year old songwriter and singer is out with his first official single. Fricky whose real name is Efe Samson Ekobe started out as a dancer at age 8. At age 10, he had developed a love for music and started writing songs. He then began recording songs at age 11.
“Superstar” which was produced by Mista NoLimit brings to you thought provoking lyrics delivered with distinctive vocals. The song starts with a rich and rhythmic blend of instruments which stimulates the listener’s ears and captures your interest till the very end.
Citing WizKid, Patoranking, 2Face amongst others as his influencers, Fricky says “Superstar” is a song inspired by God and it’s about the future. In his words, “This is what I see happening soon.”, as the song centers around not letting fame get into our heads.
He has worked with producers like Chimbalin (Producer of Mandela by Harrysong), D-tunes, Mista NoLimit, Da Kinx, X Mac, J Stunt. When asked about his source of inspiration, Fricky had this to say; “I hear the beats talk to me.”
