In contrast to what was earlier reported, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have denied Naira Marley being granted bail.
You would recall a video circulated on social media moments ago showing Naira Marley in a jubilant mood in the midst of his friends and family who were also jubilating.
The video was backed up with wide spread reports that the singer has been released from the EFCC custody on bail and ready to be driven home by his friend and family.
However, an insider from the EFCC told Sahara Reporters that the story is totally false as it is the singer’s friends who are going overboard, announcing fake reports.
The source then reiterated that Naira Marley will remain in custody of the Nigerian police till the next hearing in court.
