Remy Ma was wanted by police for an assault that took place last month and now she’s turned herself in.
The New York rapper and her lawyer went to the police office earlier today to answer for the misdemeanor assault charge. Remy punched Love & Hip Hop star Brittney Taylor in the right eye during the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza. Authorities ran an investigation and determined she was guilty.
To make matters worse, Taylor wants all the evidence including surveillance footage of the crime so that she can take Remy Ma to court. Her attorney Sanford Rubenstein says this:
“Brittney has confidence in our system of justice and will continue to fully cooperate with authorities.”
Remy Ma has been quiet this year aside from appearing in Papoose’s video for “The Golden Child” and assisting with Buckwild’s “Fire.”
