Logic released his anticipated novel Supermarket last month and now it’s topped the New York Times best sellers list.
The YSIV rapper broke the news on his Instagram yesterday with a celebratory photo and message reading:
“Humbled. Thank YOU all.”
Logic recently spoke about the book during an interview with The Daily Show host Trevor Noah. He talked about relating to the main character, his writing process, overcoming depression, and more.
The Maryland artist also dropped a supportive Supermarket soundtrack with a lone guest appearance from Juto. The project is a departure from Logic’s usual sound and debuted at number six on Billboard’s Alternative Albums Chart.
Bobby Hall is working on a new album called Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind. He delivered the title-track a couple of weeks ago.
Congratulations to Logic on becoming the first hip hop artist to top the New York Times best sellers list with a fiction novel. His Supermarket soundtrack is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital services now.
