Rapper Fat Joe has stated that he can never take pictures with Tekashi 6ix9ine who is currently on jail. According to him, the embattled rapper is a snitch who he had earlier earned about his street life.
Speaking in an interview with Angie Martinez on Tekashi 6ix9ine copping a plea so as to reduce his sentence, Fat Joe said:
“I thought he was a nice guy, and now he can’t be my friend, he can’t come around me ever again. Those are rules. He crossed that line. I don’t even understand if I go to the club and they play his song — I’m keepin’ it a buck. I pray for people who cross that line — when they talk to the police and they snitch, I pray for them.”
On the idea that Tekashi might return to the street again soon:
“I think the youth don’t care. Obviously, they don’t care, they’re playing his music in the club and all that. Me, I can’t! I’d die before you see me in a picture with Tekashi 6ix9ine. [..] Don’t do the crime, if you can’t do the time.”
Fat Joe added:
“I’m looking at what alleges to be street guys or gangsters — allegedly, we think hustlers, drug dealers singing the guy’s lyrics in the club knowing the guy’s on the daily news talkin’ about he spilled the beans. It’s crazy to me.”
