Enhle Mbali made South Africans supper proud last year during the Global Citizen Festival as she patnered with Quiteria George in designing Beyonce’s green dress for the festival.
Enhle reflects on how she felt the day Beyonce performed on stage in her designed dress. The designer was seen in teary face as she gushed over her sweat on the American’s body.
“Last year a good Industry friend came to to me with the prospects of working together and we all took it and ran. Was a crazy process where I found myself beading , cutting ,managing and the team was solid as we took on what we could see had to be. Drove me mad at times ( I’m a bit A-type okay a lot).” She said.
Enhle was also very grateful to Quiteria whom she partnered with in making the dress.
“But watching Beyoncè walk out with what I sweated on with @quiteria_george this showed me creating partnerships in industry can grow it. We have an ” I “ mentality and it’s the wrong way to go about it. “We” always wins .Thank you @quiteria_george we did great. . .this video is loose but all I was thinking was why are they not within reach to share our moment and forever young gala + she wore the dress on that song = great things.” She added.
