BAYERN MUNICH have been swamped by a mega 200,000 ticket applications for their
showdown with Real Madrid.
And that means that around one in seven of Munich’s 1.5million residents are trying to get in to see the Champions League clash.
The April encounter 12 pits two of the giants of European football against each other and Bavarian fans have flooded the
ballot as they hope for a golden ticket into the Allianz Arena.
With a capacity of 75,000 – the second highest in the Bundesliga to Borussia Dortmund– that means almost one in three
applicants will miss out.
Fans can pick up tickets for just £30, with the priciest in the stadium coming in at
around £155.
The German giants are renowned for their affordable pricing, where some season tickets can be bought for the price of just
ONE Arsenal ticket.
Real Madrid are pricing stubs up at a minimum of £70 for the return leg at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Los Blancos fans have been given an away allocation of 2,800 for the game in Munich,
according to Marca.
The clashes see ex-Real boss Carlo Ancelotti up against his former assistant Zinedine
Zidane.
